I've written two articles for Funny Times Magazine. A Plea For Plungers is in the July issue, and a piece called North of God will be in the August Issue. HALFDOLLAR, the big Skeeter novel, will be published by Quarrier Press and be available by October 2008.
The two new cds should be called:
The King of Little Things (which will also feature the story The Candy Monster) This cd is aimed more at kids, but, as always, it will be adult friendly.
FIRE! FIRE! Pants on Liar! will be the second cd. It is more adult oriented, but kid friendly. Fire! Fire! will have the stilts story, the Easter Bunny thing, Yard of the Week, the plunger story, Paul's story Flying High, and Jesus in the Ceiling. Most stories don't get a title until it is time to do the artwork on the cd, so I'll fill that in later. Paul's story, Flying High, is the one where he gets stuck to the back of the airplane which is full of dope, with the Monster Stick and flies over all the bridges in Charleston.
Both cds will be done by Quarrier Press as well, and should be out by the National Festival.

The newest CD is done and available! PUNCHING THE LARD is a live DOUBLE CD featuring ten stories recorded during my 2006 Midnight Cabaret at the National Storytelling Festival. This is a mostly humorous, mostly autobiographical account about growing up, working various jobs, and traveling the world. |
